I made my own stencil with a die cut panel I received as a card (sprayed it with acrylic sealer). I matted the watercolor panel on black and then on a Coastal Cabana card base. I just purchased a pkg of Sophia die cut shapes from Michael's, used a pink lace circle and attached a metal enamel circle with a snippet of black gingham ribbon.
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful card ...and with a stencil that you created yourself! Lovely mix of pastel colors. I like how your stenciled design is the focus with just the small sentiment circle in the corner.

Clever you to make your own stencil with the chipboard. I'm thinking that I will have to make my own to best try this technique, as most of my purchased stencils are all just for adding texture and background. It certainly goes perfectly with that little lacy circle.

This is fabulous! The colors are gorgeous and I love the die cut behind the sentiment!

Well aren't you the creative one. What a great stencil this is. Thanks for the tip about spraying it. I would never have thought to do that. Your stencil worked beautifully on this card. You've let your bg do all the work for you. It's to stunning to add anything other than your small sentiment.
