I'm calling this a bonus card for the USEIT2015 challenge - I had three houses left from my winter village, and I need a new home card for friends who have just moved from one lakeside town in Switzerland to another - hence the mountains and lake. We had a lovely time when we visited them in Lausanne, hope we get to visit them in their new house too!!
Since all but one of the houses were already coloured, I had to go with the yellow windows in the extra one, even though that really called for a night sky.
Pieced and stitched the scene, using a scalloped stitch to add little waves on the lake. Nothing to explain, really! Base was sponged with distress stain, then I stitched the main panel onto it.

Lord, look at your wonderful stitching - scalloped for the lake and zig zag for the hills and fields - great "new home" card and that polka dotted sky is so cool looking!!
