My young friend, Nina, just turned 11 and every year as part of her birthday, I have her over to do some cardmaking with me. This year she tried out my Brushos and made this card for her mother.
She sprinkled blue, mauve, and green brusho powder in different spots and spritzed with water. She blew the green puddles with a straw to get a different pattern with it. When dry, she trimmed it down to the best section and stamped the butterflies and sentiment, and chose a great glitter cs from my stash to border it. And then had a wonderful going through my embellishments and picking just the right gems and pearls to add to the butterflies.
She has a great eye for an 11 year old, for both colour and layout, I think.
If you leave some comments, I'll make sure she sees them!

Wow ... amazing card Nina!! Love the colours you've used and the pretty design you made from blowing through a straw. The the glittery frame is just perfect. Great work Nina!

Wow! I wish I could get my Brusho backgrounds to look this good! The black butterflies are just perfect and look like they're flitting around against a beautiful sky! I know your Mom will cherish this card. I know I would!
