Another very fun day at my craft table. Checked out the challenges and was drawn to the "woolly dots". So I quickly sketched a scene on my newspaper, thought about it all day until I got home and then re-sketched it on a card lightly so I could gesso it and then paint over it.
I decided to bring a rather large wheelbarrow full of dirt and three fertilizer makers and weed eaters. hehe Added the flower to tempt the woolly dots.
Made my bg by stamping on it using a round gelli plate and acrylic paints. Added some stencil work. After I painted my scene I added more paint around the images. That was the hardest part actually, covering up all that gorgeous color, but that is what mixed media is all about.....layers, adding more color, then more layers. I am totally pleased with how this turned out.
I did doodle around everything to help pop it a little more. Done. Well, had a blast these last two days. Who knows, I might be on a roll. hehe TFL :0)

Love your flower - and the barrowload of 'fertiliser makers'. Reminded me of when friends who used to run an adventure centre down in the country put in an invoice for 8 'lawn mowers'.
