When I saw that Janelle's challenge was to use wool on our cards, I hit a creative wall. I didn't think I had any wool that would work. I had some ribbon that was kinda wooly felt, but it was pink, and pink is so not my color and I wasn't sure how I would change it's color. So I thought maybe I could make a sheep out of something in my stash. I looked into my box and saw some little pom poms. The white ones were too little but there were black ones. Well, I like being different and can so related to the black sheep. Only problem with the pom poms was they were the same size and I wanted to have a smaller one for the head. What to do? Well, I decided to get out my scissors and give it a hair cut. It was going well until I took that last cut "just to even it out" and cut the thread holding the pom together and I ended up with a pile of fuzz. Oh and did I mention I only had the two pom poms to start with.... Then it hit me I could use the black wooly fuzz to put in the center of a flower. So I pulled out and old set from MFP called Poppies, Poppies, Poppies and I stamped them onto dp. I used the same dp that was the base of the card. I water colored them and popped the flowers up with punched out circles of cardstock giving them a faux paper tole look. I used Aleene's tacky glue to adhere the fuzz to the centers. The medias I used on this were markers, ink, textiles (including the pom pom fuzz) and metal.

Oh my word, you are so creative! Was this the project you were working on today? Gorgeous and how wonderful that the pom pom fell apart because it looks wonderfully wooly as Poppy centers!

Woman, you are unbelievably creative! This card is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so glad to know what's in the center of the flowers! I looked at it for the longest trying to figure it out!
