I had fun creating this card using the theme for today~April showers. I did the ink, spray and smash technique for the background. Next, I stamped the trickling water in versamark and embossed in black. Then I stamped the cone flowers in versamark and embossed in black. The flowers were painted with pearlescent watercolors. I sponged the edges with basic gray and then dragged all 4 sides through the basic gray pad. Crystal effects were added to the raindrops. I used a piece of background that was leftover and stamped the sentiment, cut out with word window punch and put on dimensionals. A bit of gray ribbon to finish it off.

This is a really thought-provoking card with the sentiment combined with the graphic images of the flowers (beautiful) and the trickling drops of water.
