I've had this card on my mind since Saturday. I loved this inspiration photo from the Umbrella pinterest board. I thought of Susie (susie australia) and how she stamps images upside down and sideways for borders. A lady at our church has had another re-occurrence of her breast cancer. I thought the image with darkness on the sides and light in the center with this verse might be encouraging to her. I started with a piece of Vanilla cs and added my neutrals to the sides. I also sponged some of the yellow as light in the center. I stamped my stems and leaves in Sahara, Suede and Thyme stamping some full strength and others stamped off.I used my SAMJ to decide on the placement of my verse and stamped in Sepia then embossed in Espresso-I like Versafine for the script and also if there is a little sparseness of ep the Sepia blends in better than Versamark.

A great take on the inspiration photo, Gail - and one of those cards which works on more than one level - visually with the light at the centre, as well as with that great verse! I just used exactly the same stamp recently for a friend who's breast cancer (3rd time round) metastasised to her brain; I think it's a good one! I'm sorry that you need to make this - but I am sure it will be very much appreciated.
