Ok......I started this card yesterday before work for the Sketch challenge and then totally ran out of time, but I did die cut the sun and trimmed the inside panel yesterday....that took about 10 minutes, to formulate what I wanted to do and then start executing it. Today, I got up EARLY...cuz I wanted to get the card done....the idea was swirling around in my head and just HAD to come out! LOL! I stamped the tulip panel and colored. I adhered the sun and sponged the rays. THEN, the hard and time consuming part.....fussy cutting the tulips! UGH! I took artist license and stamped my sentiment where the one panel should have been for the sketch challenge.
All in all, this took me about 25 minutes. Now, Tuesdays color challenge card took me about 5 minutes. So today I was the tortoise. Tuesday, i was the hare......who knows what I'll be tomorrow! LOL! Glad I got up EARLY today! LOL!
Have a wonderful Thursday!!!

This is a beautiful card!!! I love the sun and the way you did the rays. This is a perfect Easter morning scene. You did a great job cutting out all of those tulips too - worth the time I'd say. :>)

I don't think I've ever made a card in 25 minutes! Oh, wait, I made a note card once that was a strip of washi tape and a sentiment - that one was about 5 minutes - a record for me, I'm sure...I'm nearly always a tortoise. Nice card, and clever thinking to die-cut a circle for a sun...

This is a breathtaking scene!!! I love the sun & the wonderful rays, I can feel its heat!!! To me, you are a hare for both cards!!! I'd like to think I can make a card in under an hour...
