I made this Easter card for Susan's (Cards are me) VSN challenge - Easter card or project - bonus points to have and Easter egg on your card/project. I have had this polished stone paper in my stash forever... I think I made it about 5 = 6 years ago... I thought it matched fairly well with the colours in the Easter egg. I stamped the image with memento black ink on Bristol Vellum paper. Coloured with copic markers. Matted with sage and brown card stock. Stamped the sentiment and coloured the letters with the colours that I used in the easter egg. Assembled cards. sewed around the image panel. Cut a strip of the burlap ribbon and placed on the base card. Popped up the image panel... Done
Thanks for looking - hugs..Pat

Love your card, Pat! You make it sound fast and easy but I think otherwise. Love the Easter colors and your signature stitching as well as your polished stone background! And you did this in a time limit. That alone is amazing!

WONDERFUL! This is top of the line! I love the soft colors and that you found that polished stone that fit so perfectly for this card. I REALLY like the way you stamped the Happy Easter and then went over it in different colors! That really makes it pop! tfs
