Kim (berlycece) issued a great challenge for this weekend's VSN - a scavenger hunt in our craft room! The card was supposed to include:
* A neutral layer with distressing - my soft suede layer is crinkled and edge-distressed
* Metal embellishment - I have star-shaped studs in each corner
* Soft item - I hit some ribbon with my heat gun to create seaweed
* Stamped image of something you'd see on the beach - okay, wishful thinking here, but still...
* A colored layer that's dry embossed - my blue dp was run through a tiny bubbles embossing folder
* Doodling - I doodled some "sand" on the strip of dp behind the jar...
Really fun challenge that required some thinking! I hope drying time isn't included in the hour time limit, because Glossy Effects takes a while...

LOL at the mermaid seen on the beach. LOVE the ribbon seaweed, very cool indeed. More memories for me, since my name didn't come from Charlie's Angels or the Audrey Hepburn film, or even the Teenage Witch (as if I were that young), but Milton's poem about the river goddess of the Severn, so one of the first poems my mother taught me was about Sabrina fair sitting neath the glassy cool translucent wave combing her hair.
