I went with cool batik triangles, formed into Quilt squares- from our local upcycle fabric store here in Bellingham, WA- Ragfinery. I added some appliqued fish for accents, and did sashing between the quilt block rows. Finished with a orange, brown and blue green fish border on the vertical sides.

Julia, this is gorgeous!!! Love the colors and the beautiful design. I haven't quilted in quite a few years and remember the joy of it. I will be SO jealous if you have a long arm! I'd love to know how you quilted this.

I had to revisit this awesome quilt! Your colorful border is fabulous and I see things I missed the first time. Julia, what a fantastic job you did on this and I am still envious that you got to use a long arm!
