This fun guy was colored with copics and pencils. I was saddened to see the closing of Squigglefly. He is matted on an background I did with home made walnut ink mixed with distress inks resulting in a gray/green/brown. The card base is a gelli print and the burlap is from my neighbor's garage. A few stitches were added. Thanks for looking.

OMG, he's adorable (in a way only a mother could love). I love this guy, he just jumps out at you with those big eyes. The BG is amazing, the colours are so subtle with that hint of pattern.

You sure have better results with that gelli plate than I ever do. What a wounderful ook you achieved. You did your usual amaxing job coloring the adorable image. But the signature Nancy elements are the stitching and details. You make the most cohesive, well designed cards. Pinned and faved.

Oh my gosh, Nancy, how can one look into that face and not smile. I love your detail and shading. It is as if you have brought him to life. And the addition of your stitching and burlap adds the perfect touch. Into my faves.

Another inspiration straight from Nancy's stamping table! Your image with the burlap and the stitching is so unique, yet lovable with the look on his face. But a shame to hide so much of your gelli BG, but the coloring is so very complimentary to your ostrich image - AWESOME CARD!!

I love him! Oh, Nancy, your card is amazing! Great way to use your Gelli print! And I had to laugh at " from your neighbors garage"!that just affirms the fact that you are truly an amazing artist! Your stitching is great , too.

Very cool image! It's the eyes that got me! Perfect with the texture from the frayed burlap in the background. And, of course, I always am in awe of your gelli plate backgrounds. xx

A STUNNING card and design.
I totally love everything about it, went straight in to my favorites. I did have a second look, those eyes draw you in.
