This is my card for the Ways to Use It Challenge 520 - Monochromatic (Green).
Using shades of the green family I've created a little card today to show you the beauty of monochromatic coloring with Copics. With a variety of daffodils in shades of green and white, I have chosen to use an older stamp set from Flourishes called, Spring Blossom, and paired it with sentiments from Power Poppy to give you an idea of what your springtime daffodil or narcissus might look like.
I think the sentiments set the stage for the image actually. I used Copic BG90 (almost a grey green) as a background color because it mimics our skies lately. Sweet little narcissus and smaller daffodils will soon spring their heads from snowy blankets to breathe color into the landscapes once again. Breathe in, now out. Can you feel it? Spring is on it's way!
I think given the theme and sentiments used, a clean, fresh layout is best so I did not add embellishments.
Thank you for your visit today. Have a wonderful weekend.

Thud! Just picked my jaw up off of the floor, Susie, this is BREATHTAKING! Your coloring with the copics is astoundingly realistic - more like a photograph - which you also excel in! Your encouraging sentiment is perfect and needs no embellishing! Thank you for sharing this work of art with us! For all you do - LYMI!

Wowsers! I have seen daffodils in just that colour! Your colouring is stupendous! I love the clean layout and the way you stepped the sentiment. Lovely, lovely card!
Oh, I agree, this needs no embellishment. First I did what the sentiment says because I am a bit worked up at the moment. I breathed in and out and then I got lost for a few minutes in your beautiful coloring. Gorgeous card!!!

WHOOOAAA! Susie, I've always been a fan of your coloring but this by far is the most exquisite work with copics that I have ever seen. It's monochromatic too. WOW! What a thrill it would be to watch you work! You even colored the background in a muted pale shade making your daffodils just pop! Just wow! This really knocked my socks off!
