Stamp the little girl and rose on white paper with black ink. Select a coordinating pattern paper for the dress. Color the hair, face, arms, legs, shoes and rose with appropriate colored Copic markers. On the striped pink paper, decide where you want to position the little girl so there is room to create the grass, etc. and stamp again the little girl in black. This will be your pattern to put together the little girl like a paper doll. Cut out each piece of the little girl and the rose after they have been colored. This will require some delicate cutting. Once all of the pieces have been cut, you will put together the little girl over the image you already stamped. Start with the head, arms and legs. The last piece to be glued in place will be the dress and will cover all of the edges of the pieces. Lightly sponge the ground with brown ink around her feet. Use the brush tip of the markers to create the grass with flicking strokes of the marker tips. Several different colors were used. Curve the word stamp on the acrylic block to frame the rose. Stamp in black ink. Cut out two different scallop strips and glue to the top of the card. Tie on the thin cording and make a bow. Attach to green background paper and then to card. The last touch is to apply liquid pearls to the grass to create accent flowers. Add some glitter glue to the rose. This same technique can be used with other My Favorite Things images.
