Another NON stamping project.
This is a Birthday card for my Mum that I made in 2014.
A little story first, My Mum & Dad have a small garden but both of them are NOT gardening people, more the type of putting something in a pot and lets see what happens, you get the idea, right? Anyway so NO Rose garden to look at when they sit in there garden.
So this card was a bit of a tease, I gave Mum the card and told her "here's a garden to look at and NO maintenance required" ;-)
The base card was made from green cardstock, layered the panels with yellow cardstock and DP. The sides have punched SU word window stripes from cardstock. All edges where inked with Distress ink.
Made the 2 back poles from 2 stripes of cardstock with 2 circle punches on top.
The banner, the lettering and the flowers with the greenery where cut using the Silhouette Cameo.
After I was done I found the flowers a bit "plain" so I placed a few tiny flat back pearls on some of the centres and punched yellow circles for some of the other flowers.
Finished the front of with a satin ribbon.
Although the box is stuffed with flowers the card still folds up flat but a little bit of the greenery and the 2 poles stick out.
It just needed a larger envelop.
