For Lisa's WTUI challenge today ~ WT518 Music Moves Me.
If I had time, I could make music cards all day! Quite apart from all my Penny Black music stamps, one of my boxes is labelled "Music and Birds".
Music paper gessoed, Dina Wakley Scribbly bird stamped and embossed with clear EP. I coloured the bird with Gelatos, then masked it and spritzed the background with with Brusho sprays. The grass is pencils and Gelatos, and I went round the edges with Gelatos. Buttons cut from scraps of spritzed paper and sponged with inks. I die-cut the butterfly and layered a piece of background from my WT card last week behind it, adding some Stickles for sparkle. For the speech bubble, I used the back of a stamp inked with white and then edged it with a black pen.
Sentiment from SNSS.

Oh I hear your little birdy singing a Tweet Song. I love the BG in the gesso. I did not have much luck using it in the HYCCT challenge last year but it was my first attempt. I should really try to revisit that medium. Thank you so much for making a sample card for my challenge. Hugs!

Wonderful, whimsical and creative b'day card, Sabrina. You never take the easy route and always put SO much into your works with your creative artistic talent....right down to how you did the feathers on his breast.

I do love Dina's birds....such fun! Your card just made me smile......great words, Sabrina. Mom loved her lemon card. Thank you again, my sweet friend.
