IC479 took us to an amazing website - Harusaki Water Color filled with beautiful paintings. I wasn't drawn to any one in particular but to all the softness of the images.
So I coloured my image and then sprayed it with water and stamped on my watercolour paper. I was THRILLED with the outcome. And then I stamped my image. Way too low. Even though I had planned it out, my mind and hands decided to lower it at least half an inch. What!!??? Ok - so now I threw it down and walked away. But finally decided to finish it anyway. So I added some embroidery floss because it looked like too much white space at the top and then to balance it out, I added some piercing to the bottom corner. HOW did one of the holes end up bigger than the rest??!! It's not like I took a break and did that one little hole later on with a different tool. Arghhh! So after 97.5 hours (well not quite) of working on this card, it's done. Not my fave, but I don't completely hate it. Oh - and I matted the panel with SU Elegant Eggplant and popped it up on a watercolour card base.
Thanks for taking a peek!

I can relate...you wouldn't believe the watercolour horrors that ended up in my recycling box this morning !!! Who said watercolouring is relaxing? LOL!
