It's my turn this week to come up with a challenge for The Twisted Sister Challenge. The challenge is to go to the tutorial section at Split Coast and learn how to do a new fold or technique. Side Step Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I had tried the side step card before... But it did not work for me and the card ended up in the trash. This time I was determined to learn how to do it. With the great instructions here at Split coast...I not only learned how to do this fold...I am totally addicted to it, and now have made 4 cards using it.
My stamped image is from Stampin' Up but since it's a borrowed stamp, I'm sure of the name. My husband colored the image for me with copics. My other images were fussy cut from a freebie sheet from http://www.paperwishes.com/

Oh, Jill, you did a fabulous job on this side step - I am so glad you stuck with your determination to overcome the fear you had making a side step card - I love this older image, with the flowers and butterflies - the coloring looks great!!
Sorry I will be a bit late - still getting ready for my hostess club this Sunday and will get to the challenge as soon as I finish that.

Jill this is so pretty. I love that image and can't think of the name of it either. I have it. I like how you decorated this card with the butterflies and the medallions. Great card.
This is really cute! So pretty the way everything goes together. So glad you kept trying and found the SCS tutorial. Aren't they fabulous, so easy to understand!

JD, I was just researching side-step cards and came upon yours. Wow, is this ever fantastic. I love where you placed your sentiment. I don't have grass dies so this is a perfect thing to add at the bottom. Love all your beautiful images. Such a really neat card.
