This was a new technique demonstrated by Lauren Bassen on the watercolor OCC - using an acrylic block with the Distress Inks to get a more rectangular watercolor background. Honestly, I'll probably just use a brush next time But it still turned out as a fun card. I just got this die by Clearly Whimsy. With the bright colors, it felt appropriate - this card is pretty happy. The inside says "Happy Birthday." Since H is for Happy, I'm entering this into the SSS Monday Challenge. Since it's a new die and a new technique, I'm also entering it into the SSS Work It Wednesday Challenge. And it's bright! So it also fits SSS Wednesday Challenge (Bright and Beautiful). I THINK it can be considered clean and simple...? Not so much true white space, but watercolored white space. So I'm also entering this month's CAS-ual Friday challenge - CFC136, watercoloring.

Love this bright and beautiful card, Megan Beth! The letters really pop against the inked background! Thanks for joining us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
