Boy was it a challenge to add stitching to this project. I feel that Stampscapes are best presented with very little matting and no sentiment. I enjoyed the challenge of finding an appropriate sentiment that I could use to help "validate" the stitching I thought to add. Someday I will break out my sewing machine as I've heard from fellow crafters it is super easy, but I need to work up to it. I've used my sewing machine 2x in all the years I've owned it. I used multiple color tones in this scene, the first multi color scene which I've felt I could publish. I edged the card itself in the darkest blue tone. The closest silhouette flowers are two tone, the darkest blue then black slightly offset. I raised the image using my thickest foam dimensionals. I wanted the stitching to act as an underline, but chose to keep it alternating stitches versus a solid stitch line. I am sure other choices would be better but I fussed and fussed and needed to call it done Whew, great challenge and I love the fabric teapot. BTW, I am a first time Teapotter this week!

What a beautiful card! I love the stitching. It does add just that little special touch. Your colors in the Stampscape are perfect! Popping this up makes it look like a canvas hanging on a wall. Very beautifully done!

Oh hey, welcome to the tea party! And you sure have announced yourself with style, what a fabulous, fabulous woodland scene. I love those silhouetted grasses along the front, and then to see the geese made me smile because I was just watching some fly overhead as I waited for the bus home from work today. I only wish I could have seen them in your setting. Well done on incorporating some stitching most elegantly!

Welcome to the party! It's great fun and very rewarding!
I think you're pretty brave even using Stampscape stamps - I've not convinced myself I'm a good enough stamper to use them, LOL. I do find their videos fascinating, though. The scene you created here is lovely, and I'm sure the picture doesn't do it justice!
