This week's Teapot Tuesday is about creating a woodsy scene. I'm calling this "impressionistic" because it has all the elements -- tree trunks, different shades of green, branches hanging down, texture, some colorful wildflowers -- but maybe not how you'd expect them to be used.
The panel has three strips of green paper that have been embossed with Swiss dots. I black-embossed the tree trunks, die-cut the circle, then added the flowers in the little "clearing" I created in the woods. Finished it off with a branch hanging down over the tree trunks.

I like this - a neat idea to have the elements of a woodland scene. The trees look almost like real bark with the embossing - I want to feel them!
We often visit a woodland which gets flooded in the winter, and there's a black crusty moss or something that grows on the tree-trunks.

The birch trees are lovely, Sandy! I think it is wonderful the way you have the branch coming down from the top. Your added flowers are so pretty too!!!
