Sometime in the very early 90's my at the time new Sister-in-law bought me four of these really neat landscape stamps, and one of some hikers. I was into D.O.T.S. at the time so these just got put in my stamp box, and I perhaps used them once or twice for cards for my husband the hiker. Fast forward to now, in the first 6 months of revitalizing my papercrafting hobby. I'd just pulled these stamps off their wood when I saw the call for challenge IC475. It wasn't until I started the first video, trying to figure out that awesome Kincaid like highlighting when I remember seeing a few of these in my collection. This first attempt was a fail as I tried too many colors on the wrong paper, it was a streaky mess, I ended up using my circle sponge to try and make it acceptable and once I added the white It didn't looks so bad. I dug some more and found my three little hikers at the bottom of my "peeled" off the wood pile and feel they really helped this card work. My husband loves this so that is the green light to find some glossy paper and the stylus tool the instructor uses, the larger round tool I used is difficult and unwiedly.

This to me is the single most difficult technique in stamping! I tried this about 6 years ago with only a few moderate successes. Yours is wonderful! You have a wonderful eye for color and lighting! Love that sky you created and the moon. That stamp I never did have success with! Keep doing these. I'd love to see more!

Beautifully, beautifully done! You definitely have touch when it comes to Stampscapes scenes. I'm envious!
