So great to have this challenge today, as it got me off my duff to make some long needed Thank You cards. These will be for my cousins who hosted me when I was back in the Netherlands in May....yes I am a procrastinator!
I used a card kit that a friend had leftover from a swap. There was a die cut in the pack too, which I did not use. The strip to the left was already embossed. Not quite sure what SU colour it is, but it mached perfectly with my Ranger distress ink. The sentiment says 'Thank you very much'

Your story reminds me of a friend whose family lived in Canada for a while when he was quite young. They were an Irish-speaking family!! It was quite an eye-opener (and a welcome one) to my friend to discover that there was another, much more useful and widely-spoken, language available to him. This is so pretty with your butterflies with the soft edges and pearls.
