Sabrina asked us to speak foreign on our cards today so I pulled out my French Script. This card started with stuff that was already out on my desk. I had pulled a Gelli plate print of gold onto some dp (I used textured fun foam with gold acrylic paint to make the lines) and started with that. I had the strip of Baja Breeze and used the same ink to stamp the French Script as well as to sponge the edges. I also had the grey burlap ribbon already cut so layered that as well. The Kraft paper piece was out and I distressed the edges lightly to frame my main piece as well as for the sentiment oval which I embossed in gold ep and layered over a gold piece. I diecut the green flourish and added a crinkled seam binding bow. My colors in the photo are off a bit as I was rushing out the door to take kids to the dentist and didn't take time to use my light box.

The French, of course, is perfect! And the textured lines are AMAZING. I love the way they pick up on the texture of the burlap ribbon. This is just gorgeous, Gail.

I LOVE how you went over a DP piece of paper - the possibilities are endless. Wonderful card - it all works well together and to think it was all bits and pieces

You are getting really creative with your gelli prints (I just got mine out today after a long absence)..I really like how you used dp and printed on that. And I love the look of that burlap ribbon..it adds a special interest.
