This is for ~CA~'s challenge to the twisted sistahs to make a card with either a snowflake or a butterfly - duh, a no-brainer for me - I want it to be butterfly weather here, I am so ready for spring!!
I needed a get well card for a friend, so this is an almost twin copy to last week's challenge. I masked off the sentiment attached to this stamp and tied some real twine to cover the stamped image's tie, colored the flowers with copics, sponged, rounded corners, added a strip of DP with like colors, and popped it on the front of the card, and added a butterfly and a sentiment. This is early again. I seem to upload 2 of the TSC challenges at once - one early and one late - but it has been a hectic week and I am also trying to reorganize and "purge" while I am cleaning and getting things out of the way for the carpet cleaners!!

Sweet card for your friend, Sue, this breath of spring will surely make her feel better! I love that you used real twine around the bouquet, and newsprint in the background to match the newsprint around the flowers!

Sue, this beautiful! That is a pretty image, and I like the newspaper DP that it is layered on. That is a sweet butterfly, too. It is no fun getting ready for carpet cleaners! Been there, done that, in 2014! Thanks for sharing this beautiful creation.

I need you to come purge and organize here. My craft room is a mess - a BIG mess. Your card is a wonderful get well card. Love the image and the bg paper. Your flowers are super pretty too. Well done and sure to make someone feel better and very loved. Hugz and LYMI

Your pretty card is sure to cheer you friend and another card for her saved keepsake treasures of the cards that you have made her, I'm sure, Sue. Love how you paper pieced the the newsprint to hold the flowers and also used it on a panel.
This is so pretty!!!! I love that you added text paper to your background to mimic the paper wrapped around the flowers. Love it in blue, now I need to go look at the other one!

I love the soft colors of this Sue, as well as that paper pieced newsprint! How cool that looks! I am so fond of your layouts, always complimenting your beautiful coloring! Terrific card for your friend and one that will cheer her up!
