This is an atypical card for me: retro...sort of, and a human figure. I was going through some of my kept treasures(saving for special occasions, I guess) and came across this sweet image that Polly had sent me, goodness knows when. She even had a post-it attached to the back telling me the source and the ink she used to stamp it. Today's sketch from Cathy seemed like that "special occasion" to make a valentine! (Where I live, we can have a snowy Valentine's Day) : )
Thanks, Polly.

Typical or atypical, Sallie, you add style to it all this retro gal is pure sweetness all coloured up to match the bounty of hearts that are backing her. Valentines and snow are quite typical where I live too, so this perfectly pairs the season and the day How much more perfect could that sentiment fit your paper?!!

Perfect take on today's sc, and your sledding scene perfect for our light dusting of snow this morning. I must say, Sallie, I had to do a double take. I don't remember ever seeing an individual on your cards, but then again at times my memory escapes me - lol. You did an amazing job coloring this sweet child, picking up all the colors of the BG dp. Sweet, sweet Valentine!

Such a Cutie Pie sledding down your Valentine! I wouldn't have thought to use this on anything other than Christmas Sallie but it's darling as a "Love" card. Your coloring is amazing..love the flecks of snow and that adorable bg paper! Well I followed your lead today and checked my stash of RAK images and found a cute one from Kathleen to use ;) Good idea.
