This is one of the very few special cards I got made this past Christmas. I waited for it to be received before posting. Then I got busy...and am just now getting it uploaded. I have had this stamp for a while and I have wanted to do something special with it. I sprinkled the chunky Stampendous Shabby White embossing enamel on top of the image and then heat embossed it from underneath to give the appearance of snow! If you try this, use very little, as my first try, it all ran together. I cut 3 of the red cardinals from the Impression Obsession birch die set (and popped them up. I also cut two (one white one red) Merry Christmas's from the Simon Says die, gluing them together slightly offset. I mounted on a red card base and finished it off with some peppermint ribbon. I had so much fun making this card for a special friend and loved how it turned out.
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit!

I LOVE this and still marvel at your work with fine cut sentiments! Mine always become distorted with handling and glues but yours are always perfect! It looks fabulous offset from the negative. The use of the chunky EP is brilliant, an idea I would never have thought of. What a cheerful, happy card!

How beautiful this is! Your snow is perfect and I love the shadowed die cut sentiment. It's very striking, festive, yet peaceful at the same time. Thank you for sharing!
