Raccoons - now where do I start. Another treasure from the uninked stamp collection. I am totally in love with these little creatures. It all happened on a trip to Canada where I had the pleasure of seeing them in Stanley Park in Vancouver. There was a large family of them and they came across from a small island in the lake and were begging for food. All I had was chocolate chip biscuits on me. I gave them some and was fascinated to see them take the biscuits down to the water and start to wash them. He he he - needless to say the biscuits dissolved out of sight. They were not impressed.
I hope I have the colours right - the male is different from the female - ha ha. To get the colours I had to take out my little raccoon teapot (yes I said I was dotty over raccoons) to look at the actual colours - so I hope it is close to the originals.
The image is coloured with Derwent Watercolour pencils.

You colored your raccoons extremely well!!! Such a nice card with your background. Your card really popped out at me. I can't believe they wouldn't eat your chocolate chip biscuits. Goofs!!

Wow I love the Gelli plate background!!! Your racoons are fantastic Helen. Why don't we have these little chaps here I wander. Next best thing is a stamp I guess. Love every inch of this.

Do I detect more gelli printing? I laughed about no tables being harmed in your other project. I adore raccoons, and yes, they will wash just about anything. They explore their food, and have the best 'feel' when their paws are wet. They fascinate me, and I think you've captured their curious nature with this card. Thanks for playing!
