This is for Lee's Winter Wildlife VSN challenge, to use winter animals. I have to say that I don't typically associate squirrels with winter - but this stamp is listed in Christmas Animals on the Lili of the Valley website, and that's good enough for me. Sadly red squirrels in Ireland and Britain have been largely displaced by non-native grey squirrels, so it's now many years since I've even seen a red squirrel :-(.
Stamped image, coloured with pencils and layered on dark green card. The image seems to have the pine tree at a slight slant - which isn't unusual but didn't look right to me. Tilting the panel straightened it and pleased my eye better.
The white base was too plain, so I stamped an Impression Obsession Cover-a-Card over it in a very soft colour. Added AppliGlue for snow and finished it off with a little tag and green hemp bow.
***If you want to join in with the VSN fun, there's a 6-month fan club membership/extension to be randomly drawn as a prize for each of the challenges. The upload deadline is 10PM Eastern Time, Sunday 21st December ***

How cute, Sabrina! Have to laugh about the squirrels, though. It's squirrel time all year long around here. They've been shopping on my deck again and took off w/ all the straw & moss in a hanging planter, lol. Guess they wanted to fortify their nests.
I love your card! This is such an adorable image!! You got me curious about red squirrels, so I had to go look them up. They have beautiful coloring, and I love the tuft of fur on the tip of their ears!! Back to the card - I love the clean layout, too. Thanks for sharing!
