** Replaced with daylight photo**
For Tiffany's Fine Feathered Friend MIX95 challenge.
I remembered this piece of tomato paste tube that I had embossed and coloured a while back, and thought it would be fun to use for Cathy's Make It With Metal challenge from yesterday.
I've wanted to try those lovely white embossed feathers I've been seeing, so that's where I went with Tiffany's challenge.
The base is corrugated blue card, which I wiped with a pad and embossed with Iridescent Ice, and then edged with a gold pen.
The metal panel was embossed with Diamonds in the Rough, coloured with alcohol inks and then had some Antique Teal chunky ep added.
As well as the feathers I embossed a sentiment on vellum with white, and used an embossing folder and stylus to add a couple of feathers there too. The little bird is stamped on a scrap of alcohol ink plaid, with a second feather stamped and popped up.
Between the metal and the button, this is kind of held together with a wing and a prayer since my glue gun went in for repairs yesterday and I've just had to use glue dots.
And, since it was dark even when I got home at lunch time and hasn't stopped raining since, I'll replace this tomorrow with a better photo. And I'll probably add a little bling at each punched corner of the metal panel, too.
