After I made grandma's box, I realized I should probably make two more - one for my mom and one for my mother-in-law. I couldn't extensively use double-sided paper for these two, but I can tell you how wonderful it is to dig into the scrap pile and find paper to paper the insides of these little boxes - that was magnificent! I hate saving scrap paper because I rarely use it, and here I was, using up quite a bit of it!
Many years ago, I got obsessed with Brenda Walton's Grand Adhesions with the big dragonfly. I must have bought 30 packs of it, and it has long been discontinued. I was thankful I still had about 10 packs left as I was able to use the flowers, the butterfly, and one of the big dragonflies for accents. I even bent up the wings on the insects to make them more three-dimensional.
I'm exhausted. Where's the wine? Someone bring me wine STAT! hahahahahaha!
