Remembrance day is tomorrow here in Canada and the challenge for the Stamp to Spend forum for this week is to be inspired by Col. John McRae's poem, 'In Flander's Fields'. I took the first sentence, 'In Flander's Field's the poppies blow' and used a poppy stamp. I also tried the copic ink background technique for today's TLC507 challenge. I do not have copic ink reinkers, but I do have Ranger alcohol inks, so I used them. . This is a cool technique. I actually allowed my inks to run a bit before they were dry. I used the bottom of a little plastic bubbles container, left over from a wedding to dip into the hand cleanser, but it picked up some of the ink, so I ended up with some pinkish stamping. I will try this again!

Ina, your bg with this technique is fabulous. I like how you left a lot of white.....really makes it look transparent and it "flows". A beautiful card when completed with your poppy image.
