Hi all,
Well this little project took me all day because of drying times between coats etc. If you can't read it, the words are by Abraham Lincoln and they say, "The riches that are in the heart cannot be stolen". I cased this page: http://www.france-papillon.com/#!Jou...9-8DEBE4545E4F.
I glazed the dictionary page (it says Artiste at the top) with Turquoise glaze, let dry then applied distress ink, Inka Gold-copper and copper 3-D paint to the edges, let dry. Applied some copper paste, let dry. Applied white paste with my finger, let dry. Glued to cardstock as it was too flimsy the way it was with all that I was putting on. Applied more 3-D paint, let dry. The patina took about 2 1/5 hours because it needed two coasts of metal paint then sprayed with the activator. Most of my metal pieces were done with this. Next I started gluing everything down with heavy duty tacky glue. I also added distress ink-Tea Dye, to the cheese cloth. I think this qualifies for both challenges.
Thanks for looking!
