I had so much fun getting inky today after a really long hiatus. Today's mixability challenge asked us to get inspired by France Papillon's blog or videos. I watched and where France made some beautiful tags.
For this one, I started with a manila tag using Gesso to adhere my first layer of the travel inspired tissue paper.I then trimmed off the extra tissue and used my finger to add the Gesso along the edges. I had a leftover piece of spritzed book page that I adhered to the bottom also with Gesso. I partially embossed the edge with the Argyle ef. I added some pink Gelato and also sponged some Suede. I had a scallop circle with dry wall mesh stenciling and added that to the right edge and then glued on the hearts (I'd stamped these previously and sponged the edges with Suede). I punched my sentiment that I'd already stamped and notched the edge with the hexagon punch. I sponged it with Suede and popped it over my tag. I added a jumbo eyelet and some fun yarn and twine. I had the music sheet pennants already punched and punched the vanilla ones. I smeared some pink Gelato on those and spritzed with homemade shimmer spray. I glued them onto some black hemp and used glue dots to add my banner up at the top.

Gail this is so wonderful! I love all the French/Paris stamps and your little trio of hearts! Your strung banners are awesome too! I also like that you used the two different ties (pink yarn and twine). Great tag!!!

Wow! There are a lot of techniques piled into this tag. I love the pink with kraft - always a classic! I will have to remember to use that hex punch like you did. So easy! I'm also going to have to try the partial embossing trick. This is lovely! Thanks for playing my challenge!
