This is my card for the HYCCT1431B challenge "The Fault In Our Stars" - to create a sweetly romantic card for someone to give to their significant other.
I just love this photo I found in the Print Shop online gallery. I was going to place it under vellum but decided to blur it before printing instead.
I cut the mat from a David Tutera decorative-edged heavy kraft card and attached the photo to it with Sookwang tape. I die cut the heart and the word love from the same card, and stamped the heart.
The cream base layer was embossed with a Sizzix ef, die cut, misted with shimmer spray and attached to the base. I used Crafter's Pick glue to attach all the elements to the base layer because it's thick enough to get into all the nooks and crannies on the base layer without running all over, and it holds extremely well. I added a light coat of Wink of Stella to the heart.
As always, thanks for looking!

This is stunning. Love the way you've slightly blurred the image and that embossing folder works so well with it. Thanks so much for playing along with my challenge!
