The trickiest part of this card is lining up the elements so when the card is closed-- Nasferato's hand is peeking out from the wall. To accomplish this I used typing paper and did a mock up and stamped multiple times to get the placement then used those measurements to place on the master sheet. Cutting through the water color paper with an exacto also took more pressure than usual- to cut where the dreaming lady's body was overlapping with the seam- 1 don't cut through her and two also don't score through her or you won't get the same illusion with sticking out/3d. Stamp Dreamer and Nesferato and then mask. Use score pal and score above and below the dreamer and 2nd fold of card. Use Iced Spruce distress stain to create base layer of color on card. Stencil gothic windows in aged mahogany and black soot distress ink 1st and 3rd panels. Use damask stencil in the middle and on edges of the card in peeled paint. Stencil halloween sentiment. Remove masks and color the images with distress markers. I chose to give the dreamer a vampire bite to finish the scene Use mini crackle stamp to give extra texture for card background.
