Somehow I am always in a rush and make my cards "on the run". This results in smearing wet mediums like glitter glue, stamping things slightly off center from not taking the time to use the "thing a ma jig", and adhering my image panel unevenely. I hate to admit it, but I usully just buy holiday cards..loud gasp from all of you have already made all of your holiday cards. I just don't do well with deadlines. However, I decided to just make what I can get done and use the store baught ones if I don't finish. The next problem is that since I don't make holiday cards, I don't have any stamps with holiday greetings. Celebrate" is as close as I can get...but the challenge did say none traditional. I have a lot of "trimmings" from backgrounds I have made and I love to glue them together to make new bkgs. These seemed like holiday colors...it is much brighter and less "muddy" in person. I made another version with different colors that I hope to finish and post later. TFL, Francie

I do love what you create with your colourful backgrounds combined with silhouette stamps and a white pen! And the little floral spray is sweet and adds a real holiday feel.
Oh you clever girl!!!! I don't think I save my scraps of homemade bg's but I am going to start! This is gorgeous!!! Your celebrate is great for the nontraditional Christmas and so are the colors! Spectacular!

Francie, another spectacular creation! Your work with bold color catches my eye every time! Love the highlighting with the gel pen and don't laugh but when I do it, it looks like a first grader did it! Your artwork is always something to see! Fabulous card!
