Someone a bit ago gave me a file to cut out little army men. Now this was a cop out for me. as I really don't have anyone i consider a Hero in my life. that being said...Now before you boo me I lost my mother at the beginning of this year. I had to think about that....I didn't idolize her at all but she did do some things I feel are worth mentioning and I will tell you how this ties in with my army men. We all grew up in rough times moving alot and we were little Heathens. There were plenty of times we should have been killed for some of those times. But my momma was a wonder-woman when it came to defending her kids. If anyone was deserving (and going to get the joys of) getting to beat our butts for having done something really to deserve it, it was gonna be her. ANYONE step over the line and touch her kids she was gonna flatten them first and ask us what we did after. I loved that part of my mom. Now how you ask does this tie in with my army men... well my mom was a WAC. She joined the army to meet Elvis (grin). She met my dad instead. He was a pretty good guy also. So for me this card is a threefold honor. It honors the great men and women who serve today when we really shouldn't be fighting, and it also Honors my Mother and my Father. It says on the inside in army green colors "Let's Make Up!"

Your card description made me smile....I was thinking how times have changed and how the world might be a better place with a few more people like your Mother around to keep things in line! And those little army men, I'd forgotten all about those buckets of little green men! This sentiment, with what you've got inside, seems like a MUCH needed card, can't think of anything nicer than a card to mend a relationship! Very cleverly done - thank you for sharing your card and your hero story for this challenge!
