Here's my last card for this month's HYCCT challenges, I'm so sorry it's over!!! It's for Lydia's Another Year In the Books, to make a card inspired by your favourite childhood book! I LOVED this challenge because I've been an an avid reader since childhood and have pretty much devoured books my whole life. But when it came to this challenge, it was easy for me to choose - C.S. Lewis' The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I cried for hours after I finished the series at age 11, I was so sad that there were no more to read! My card has a representation of The White Stag, who led the children out of Narnia back to the wardrobe at the end of the book. The snowy scene represents Narnia before the spell of the White Witch was broken...always winter, but never Christmas. The sentiment "peace" represents the freedom Aslan brought to Narnia when he sacrificed himself for the sake of all Narnians.
The bg is watercolored and all of the die-cuts are popped up, with rhinestones and enamel dots to finish.
Thanks, Lydia, for such a great challenge, and thanks to all of you who have participated throughout this fabulous card drive!

Oh my, you've given me chills. This is truly stunning. Your art always causes me to be in awe. It's been extra special to get a "Bridget" dose every day and now you've finished with a grand flourish! Your background is amazing. The white die cuts are spectacular paired with the blue. Thanks for sharing such a gorgeous description to go with this beauty.

Your card jumped out of the thumbnails, Bridget! That watercolored sky is incredibly gorgeous! How I love the blend of those bright, rich colors and how perfect for your white stag! This is fantastic!

I am not sure which I love the most, your card or your description of your favorite childhood book. Both are just wonderful, Bridget. Such a beautiful card to end a month of great fun and inspiration.

LOVE YOUR CARD AND INSPIRATION!! As soon as I saw it I thought of Narnia! Those are some of my favorite books too. In fact I purchased the set so I can reread them and my kids can read them too!

I sure did enjoy The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardroom when I was young. My daughter read the whole series (which I never did)! Your card is beautiful. I love your unmuddled background. The colours shine through so clearly. The die cuts are marvellous too!
