Sweet, Susie (Australia) asked us to make our own background for our cards. When I think of all the folks who have been there for me, I sure do want to say "Thank you!".
I used some bubble wrap and dabbed it right from the ink pad to the paper. Then, I sprayed the paper with some alcohol to soften the colors a bit. Lastly I sponged around the edges and stamped the silhouetted flowers and sentiment. LOL think I will leave the DP to the designers!!! Thanks Susie for hosting this wonderful challenge.

WooHoo Miss Kathleen Lammie from Alabama, this is WONDERFUL!!!! I would never buy a piece of dp again if I could create backgrounds like this. You used my favourite inks and garden stamp too. I didn't know alcohol ink softens colouring....see I learn something from you every time I see you. I keep looking at this and smiling, you are going to bring big smiles to the recipient. Thanks so much my sweet friend for joining in my HYCCT challeneg.

I just HAVE to try this bubble wrap technique - I didn't know it could look so pretty! Beautiful, beautiful colours and the black silhouette looks like a field of wildflowers. I'm so happy to see you adding your talent to the HYCCT gallery, Kathleen!

Kathleen, this is one of my favorite things to do for backgrounds. Isn't it fun? I think we owe you a debt of gratitude for taking the time to participate in the 2014 HYCCT Challenges and sharing your gift with us. This is a lovely card, background, and silhouette image. Perfect for saying, Thank you!
