To create the bokeh background I used watercolor paper with reinkers and then dried the paper with my heat gun. I added the craft white ink by first creating masks using various circle punches and scrap paper. I started with the largest circle and worked my way down to a 1" circle, sponging the ink heavier around the edge and lighter toward the center. This was a fun technique to try and I'm sure I'll work with this technique again.

Your bokeh bg has a look of fresh rain or something like that - really beautiful all framed in an oval, and the trio of textured leaves to match the bg is a fab touch!
