WARNING!!! This is what happens when you decide to combine challenges and pick your inspiration for the Inspiration Challenge before you check out the HYCCT challenge, which is a technique you have NEVER done before! Kellie Jo's HYCCT challenge is "Bokeh De Boppity Boo" -- use the Bokeh technique on your card. I had pretty much decided how I wanted to handle the Inspiration Challenge ( Owl Medallion Bookplate) , but that HYCCT challenge really threw me a curve! My supply of Gelatos is a bit limited, so I wound up with an orange owl! I did use some watercolor crayons for the beak, claws, and branch.

Lois, your card turned out GREAT! I don't think Gelatos are mandatory for this technique...anything to color your stamp and move color around works. Your results are lovely and you created a charming card.
I must use an owl image sometime in this challenge. I love them and I really love your card and it's appropriate sentiment.

Isn't it funny to discover the creations we don't like the result of is LOVED by everyone else? I had that happen the other day and it blew my mind. Seeing your cards (both Bokeh ones) and reading your descriptions, I completely get it now.
I love this one! :~)
