Robin's HYCCT challenge today was to use a resist technique in our card. I chose to use Color On Color Embossing Resist. I first sponged three different color dye inks on a white piece of card stock. Then I clear embossed my stamp images. Then I sponged a darker ink on top of the card all over to make the embossed images pop. I wiped off excess ink. Adhered this to black card stock, wrapped a ribbon around it, and then placed my focal image and sentiment on top with pop up dots. Applied it to a turquoise card base. You can find this technique on Stamp TV.

Janine, sometimes I'm just really taken with the way someone has used their ink and stamps, and this is one of them - you've really created depth and rich colour, this is a treat to look at!

What an amazing background you've created with the color-on-color resist technique! It was the perfect backdrop for your encouraging focal panel. Beautifully done!

Beautiful resist card! Love the flower bg and that sentiment...that is what I told my kids ALL the time. I just kept telling them that you don't know what is right around the corner. (this was when there were several suicides at their high school..it was like a string of them at once. I was so afraid they could follow suit!!! This sentiment is perfect for the cancer fighter as well!
Thanks for playing!
