I was actually working on this card last evening. I had an old sample card. I liked the main image, but it needed a larger base card and I had originally used some very inexpensive cardstock that wan't looking so good now. In trying to seperate the layers on the original card I sadly trashed the beautiful puple mulberry paper with lovely gold strands though it that was layered behind the main image. I decided to remount on gold and I happened to have a recycled piece of gold that was the cardboard liner from a stack of foil that we use at work. It is a beautiful foil finish which sadly scans as black. Then I layered onto some soft sky. I had decided to layer onto a Concord Crush card base, but had not done that yet. When I saw the WT challenge this morning I added an embossed layer to fit this challenge.
This card actually has three types of embossing on it. The image is gold embossed and then wet embossed. Using a wet brush you wet areas of the image you want to raise up. After the area is saturated, you use a stylus to gently push the paper up. (You need a paper with some give to it like a natural of confetti cardstock) After it is dry again, you color the image. The pansies and daisies have some raised bits, but I don't know if that is visible from the scan. Then, of course, I dry embossed the front panel.
This card is also for the HYCCT1401C Hold onto your Hope Challenge -- to use something with a handle.
Edit: I finally found my Simple Delights set (it was hiding behind a bunch of other stamp sets)
so I used it to stamp my butterfly with Concord Crush ink. I love the pattern this creates on the butterfly. Then I added Wink of Stella to the wings to give it some shimmer.

Love the gold embossing on this delicate tea cup. The finest of stamping for this pretty bouquet and that fine china.
