I sponged the background with crumb cake and a bit of gold paint. Then I scored it at a diagonal. I paper pieced the edges of the labels and glued them together. Embossed the ornament and glued them all together. When it was finished is sprayed it all over with Shimmer Mist in gold. There is a pearl in the middle of the ornament even though it's hard to see.

A striking Christmas card done in neutrals, Gayle. Your created back panel is LOVELY with the embossing, tinting and water marks. It really sets off your black/white ornament.
Pretty!!! I agree with Gail, I bet this just shimmers IRL. (my gold splatters do not show up glittery but they are.) Beautiful bg with the scored lines. I like the label layers. So pretty. Love the ornament with the pearl. Beautiful card.

I really like the diagonal scoring and the piercing - they add even more elegance to this lovely ornament. I bet the shimmer is amazing in real life! Thanks for joining in my HYCCT challenge!
