This card is part of the HYCCT Challenge. I really have a problem with the over use of the word Hero, so I took the time to look up its meaning, and this is what I got: "a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities." Of course, that must have been written by a male because there are many women who fit that title nowdays. So with that in mind, I could have picked a number of people in my life who fit that description, but I decided to honor the true heroes (male and female) who give their all every day so that I have the freedoms of this country that I love. Thank you for this great challenge.

Those who serve in the military are truly heroes and deserve to be honoured - your card is a wonderful tribute. I love the sentiment, it's truly meaningful and I also love the way you've tucked the Flag up there. Thanks for sharing your heart and this card int the hero challenge.

I really like the look of this. It's strong and crisp. Wonderfully done!
