I used the Acetate & Tissue technique but did it on glass instead of acetate. And I stamped on the tissue instead of the glass using just basic black ink. the idea is the same though. Oh, and I used Liquid Laminate instead of the other products. The right pic is with the flash on, but you couldn't see how pretty the candle flame looked, so the pic on the Left is without the flash.

Wow! I like this idea so much better then stamping on candles (because I want to burn them - without starting the house on fire!) Now I'm going to need to search all of the second hand stores for glasses so that I can make these as gifts! Thanks for sharing

These are great!!! Did you apply the tissue & liquid laminate to the inside of the glass or outside? Do you think Crystal Effects would work just as well? Thanks for sharing!!! :d

Kulat4, I actually did it on the outside of the glass. A drop of Liquid Laminate and a drop of ink, smear around, then put the tissue on, make sure there's no bubbles. I have no idea if crystal effects would work (I've never used crystal effects). Thanks for all the great comments ladies!

This is sooooo pretty. My brain just flashed on with design ideas for the holidays. I'm going garage sale shopping for glassware. You are so awesome for sharing this. Is the candle a tea light or a votive?
