This card is for Bridget's challenge to make a card, inspired by someone who is a hero to you. It was a very CAS card to make, just some coloring and a few punches, now my story - - - -
Over the past 3 or 4 years, right here on SCS, I have made cards for a few young boys who have also fought the big "C" monster, (most recently, Bridger S.) and another who had a TBI from a car accident, (Brian) and nearly died in hospice and came back to live a normal life with a lot of prayers, and a big helping of courage! My card is inspired by these young boys, who fought against the odds that would have crushed grown men's spirits with a courage and determination that amazes me every day I hear some more news of them and their newest victories & accomplishments.
I hope this card will be a special bond between some young man and his Mom! Thanks for looking!

I'm moved by your tribute to the young guys who've faced such a huge battle with bravery, Sue - and you've done it adorably with this little swimmer in goggles and cape - so sweet and coloured beautifully! I love all the bright, vibrant colours, and the stars are perfect! Thank you for sharing your art and your heart in this challenge, Sue!
