About a year ago an uncle gave the book "Washington--a Novel" by Ron Chernow. Ron won the pulitzer prize for this book. I read it, even though it was very long, and came away with a reverence and respect for all George Washington did to foster the formation of our liberties and country. He was definitely an inspired man! He is just one of my heros. So today's card is freedom related and I thought it could double for a 4th of July card too.

This is SUCH a fabulous patriotic card to honour a real hero in founding our nation! Love the layered star and the starry ribbon, all of the colour just pops against the kraft. George Washington is truly inspirational and we are ALL grateful for him - thank you for this fabulous tribute!
What a fabulous card and a wonderful tribute to George Washington. Will put that book on my wish list.
