Hi there everybody and a huge Happy World Card Making Day to you!! I hope you are all having an awesome day of crafty goodness with dear friends near and far. I have a card I wanted to share with you today for a couple of challenges. The Power Poppy Blog is having a challenge extravaganza today so I am playing along in one of those AND the bonus to this particular challenge is you get to pick from some of the HYCCT challenges here on SCS. This is a subject that is VERY near and dear to my heart so I chose to participate in one of these....particularly the challenge hosted by that incredibly talented Dina Kowal (HYCCT1401C)! When I saw the theme, I immediately knew what image I wanted to use....so here is my little mug (with handle) full of flowers....all colored up in pink! This card is some simple layers that have been stitched (I used a border punch for one of the layers) and then my main image panel. My image is colored with Copics and some distress ink sponged on for a little extra pop. I used some wee pearls in the centers of some of the flowers to add a little dimension and made the petals shimmery with my Atyou Spica Clear glitter pen. I love this sweet little image! I hope you can check out both of these challenges and play along with us!! You can see more photos of this card and more details on my blog. Again, hoping you have a wonderful day and thanks so much for taking a peek!

Ohh, I love this, and I'm so glad you chose me! Your layers and mixed patterns are beautiful - I'm just in the mood for that today after working all morning - just want to play with patterns and color something pretty. Soaking up that vintage pink. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge and for supporting Hope You Can Cling To!

Breathtaking! All your layers and lacy edges make me want to stare at it for hours!

Those flowers look so pretty on your sparkly paper backed with the Romantic rectangle! Such a pretty vintage pink and with the added ribbon and sponging, has that old fashioned look we love so much in your gallery!! Just gorgeous, Katie!!
